Last night I David Goldberg star of the cool wall went to Qualcomm stadium to watch drag racing. I went with my brother Ben in one of my personal favorite cars a 2008 Chevy Colorado 1LT in Gray. Now we then watched as many cars including Evo’s,Civic’s,Eclipse’s, and quite a bit of loud mustangs. But one car caught my eye it was a Datsun now you might be thinking why would someone race a Datsun 7 something. It had Fat Tires on the back because it was surprisingly rear wheel drive. This car had a stock 4 cylinder engine with a new intake and some new headers that was it regarding engine upgrades. It had a 72 ml Turbo thats HUGE thats the 3rd largest turbo in america IN A DATSUN. We found out this guy shift at 15,000 RPM’s normal cars like mine shift at 3,000 Ferrari F430 forget about it only 7,500 RPM’s. This guy got up to 120 on a 1/8 of a mile a ferrari does that in about a 1/5 of a mile. We talked to the owner of the car to talk to him about how does he control such a animal of a car. He replied “Its hard but once your flying at speeds faster then Ferrari’s its a lot of fun especially in a Datsun” (He heard this when me and my brother mentioned to him he could beat a F430).
