Now before you think I am going to despise this car because well it runs on batteries that power my computer in fact over six thousand of them. This may seem like a fantastic idea it is except the fact compared to a car like the Lotus Elise the Lotus is sporty beyond belief its rear wheel drive 250 horsepower super charged four cylinder. The Lotus is a somewhat fuel efficient sports car and its fast the Tesla is fast as well but not as quick. Its mid engined like the Lotus and has around the same horsepower but its not as fast through corners because of all the weight it carries around from all those batteries. Its fantastic as a normal car its good looking and pretty quick but its not cheap its thirty grand more then the Lotus. Its not practical either its runs out of battery in 300 miles it takes sixteen hours to recharge. So if you think gas is bad and expensive is it worth the time charging its battery?
